Steve McCollum has over 30 years of trial experience. He is the former Chief Deputy State's Attorney for Lake County where he was the supervisor of all criminal prosecutions for Lake County, Illinois. Having been an prosecutor with the Lake County State's Attorney's Office for over 14 years and a defense attorney for 16 years, he has tried almost every type of criminal Felony, Misdemeanor, Juvenile, DUI, and Traffic case. He has tried many First Degree Murder cases, including death penalty cases, in addition to DUI cases, Reckless Homicide cases, complicated sex cases, Financial Crime cases, and other felony, juvenile and misdemeanor cases. He currently is available for criminal, juvenile, misdemeanor, DUI, traffic and other litigation matters.
