The Community Outreach and Diversity Committee will be accepting nominations for the Wayne B. Flanigan Award to be presented at the Pro Bono Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

The Lake County Bar Association established the Wayne B. Flanigan Award in 2005 to honor the lifework and spirit of beloved LCBA President Wayne B. Flanigan. Mr. Flanigan was a strong supporter of pro bono service to the community at large and within the legal community. He represented clients as a pro bono attorney, mentored attorneys, and recruited attorneys to be involved with the LCBA.  

The award recognizes an LCBA Member Attorney who provides a “hand up to those that need one” through their contributions to the public by providing legal services to indigent members of Lake County communities and/or through their support of and furtherance of the values of the LCBA.
