Dan Meyer, a member of Meyer Law Group LLC in Chicago, has been defending lawyers in legal malpractice cases and ARDC proceedings throughout his career. He has defended dozens of family law practitioners in claims alleging that his clients failed to obtain valuations of significant marital assets (homes, businesses and investments), failed to present at trial sufficient evidence to obtain an equitable distribution of assets, failed to properly present evidence pertaining to child support and maintenance, and engaged in improper billing practices, amongst other issues. On November 9, 2015, Dan will present a CLE program to the Lake County Bar Association’s Family Law Committee wherein he will discuss common issues giving rise to legal malpractice claims against family law practitioners, and will provide practical guidance for risk avoidance and management.

This Brown Bag CLE is free and takes place during the lunch hour – you don’t want to miss it!
